Poly Z.H. Sun is an associate professor with the Department of AI and Human Factors Engineering, School of Psychology and Cognitive Science, East China Normal University. 

His current research interests include artificial intelligence, intelligent human factors engineering, and embodied human-computer interaction. Dr. Sun has carried out interdisciplinary research work in the application scenarios of psychology+artificial intelligence such as Human Factors and Ergonomics in Transportation (autonomous driving, civil aviation, low-altitude flight), Personal Health Informatics (early screening and post clinical rehabilitation of cognitive and psychiatric diseases), User Experience in Smart Product Service  (tourism and travel experience, Internet and consumer experience, mixed reality and game experience), Collaboration and Innovation Via Swarm Intelligence (embodied robots, LLMs and agents, human-computer interaction and collaboration, human-computer intelligence innovation). 

He has authored/co-authored over 30 research papers in IEEE journals such as IEEE T-ITS, IEEE T-II, and IEEE T-CSS. Four papers have been selected as ESI highly cited/hot papers, one paper has won the IEEE T-ASE Best Applied Paper Award, and one paper has been selected as the IEEE J-BHI highlight paper.
