    Lian Yanling, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at East China Normal University (ECNU), Deputy Dean of the School of Economics and Management, and the responsible professor for the business administration discipline at ECNU. She has been selected for the Oriental Elites Program in Shanghai and the Shanghai Pujiang Talent Program. Currently, she serves as a member of the inaugural committee of the Youth Working Committee of the Entrepreneurship and Small and Medium Enterprise Management Professional Committee, Vice Chairman of the Youth Committee of the Family Business Research Committee, Director of the Oriental Marketing Special Committee of the Shanghai Management Education Society, Director of the China Soft Science Research Society, a member of the invited expert team for University Academic Research Serving the Overall Development of the Country in the Management World journal, Editorial Board member of the Foreign Economics & Management journal, and a part-time researcher at the Global Family Business Center of the Tsinghua University PBC School of Finance. She was included in the Renmin University Photocopy Newspaper and Periodical Material Important Source Authors in 2022 (45 people in the business administration discipline nationwide). Her main research focuses on corporate strategic management and corporate governance in the context of China's transitional economic system, decision-making behavior of private (family) enterprises, and corporate innovation, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility. She has presided over the completion of 6 national and provincial-level projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation for Young Scholars and the National Natural Science Foundation General Program. Among them, the National Natural Science Youth Project Organizational Expectations, Risky Decision-Making, and Enterprise Growth Mechanisms was completed with excellent results. To date, she has published 2 monographs and co-authored 1 textbook; published over 40 domestic papers, including 2 in Economic Research, 5 in Management World, 4 in Journal of Management Sciences, 5 in China Industrial Economics, and 2 in Nankai Management Review; and published 3 international papers, including 1 in Asia Pacific Journal of Management (AJG-3 stars), 1 in Emerging Markets Finance and Trade (JCR Q1), and 1 in Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management (JCR Q1). Her research achievements have been awarded the Eighth Higher Education Scientific Research Excellent Achievement Award, the Thirteenth Shanghai Philosophy and Social Science Excellent Achievement Award, and the 2023 IACMR Conference Theme Best Paper Finalist Award (an international award). She is one of the early and continuously dedicated young scholars in the field of corporate behavior theory and family business governance in China, and has had a certain social impact in related fields. She participated in the construction of the Enterprise Common Prosperity sub-database in the Guotai'an database, playing an important role in promoting and leading the research on organizational multiple expectations and strategic responses, and the modern corporate governance and family business growth embedded in the Chinese management context.
