    Resume

    Wen is an Associate Professor at Department of Information Management, East China Normal University. Her research and teaching interests focus on Computational Social Science, Health Informatics, Data Visualization, Scholarly Communication, Sociology of Science. 

    The overarching goal of her research is to advance scholarship and practice toward open science by understanding human, data, and their interaction in social and academic settings. She excels the methodological approaches to the study of demonstrating the divergence and convergence of science as a society, primarily through large-scale data analytics. 

    As an interdisciplinary scholar, she draws inspiration from computational social science, the science of science, network science, and public policy, in addition to information science as my home discipline. She uses various methods in her work, including computational linguistics, discourse analysis, machine learning, semantic analysis, usability testing, and experiments. She has published over 60 articles in top-tier peer-reviewed venues in scholarly communication, information organization, and research performance evaluation throughout my academic career. Her scholarship has been recognized with a Top 100 Young Scholars Award in Shanghai and was funded by over ten government grants.
