    Dr Wang received his Ph.D. degree in pharmacology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and postdoctoral training in the University of Texas Medical Branch. He is a full professor of East China Normal University (ECNU), Shanghai, China. Dr Wang has the honor to win the SERVIER Pharmacologist Award of Chinese Pharmacological Society. His research fields include pharmaceutical analysis, pharmacokinetics and drug metabolism. Dr Wang has published more than 70 SCI papers in international peer-reviewed journals, such as Nature Communications, Biochemical Pharmacology, Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B, and Pharmacological Research et al. He also edited two pharmacological books, and contributed four book chapters. Meanwhile, he is dedicated to social activities and serves as the editorial board member and ad-hoc reviewer of 45 SCI journals, such as Biochemical Pharmacology, Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis, Journal of Chromatography A, Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B, Phytomedicine, and Drug Metabolism and Disposition et al.

    Research Fields

    Xin Wang received his Ph.D. degree in pharmacology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, and postdoctoral training in the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Tex, USA. He has been working in the School of Life Sciences, ECNU, as an Associate Professor, since 2011. Dr. Wang has published more than 40 academic papers in international peer-reviewed journals. Meanwhile, he is dedicated to social activities and works as a Reviewer for SCI journals, such as Gene, Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis, Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmacology, European Journal of Histochemistry, and Fitoterapia. Wang has been also involved in multiple programs of the Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality, National Natural Science Foundation, and National programs. His research fields include pharmacokinetics, including drug absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion; integrative approach for the study of anticancer effects of Chinese medicinal (CM) herbs, including chemical analysis, pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, adverse effect/toxicity, and quality control of CM herbs; and herb-drug interactions, in particular chemopreventive and synergistic anticancer effects of CM herbs in the combinational chemotherapy of anticancer drugs with CM herbs.

    1.Pharmacology, especially novel models for drug metabolism, such as 3D organoids of transporter protein, CYP knockout rat and humanized rat mode

    2.Pharmacokinetics of antitumor drugs, including drug absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion
