Resume

Dr. Lai’s lab is interested in understanding immune regulations of keratinocytes during the development of inflammatory skin diseases, such as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis and acne. Fundamental basic science approaches using modern techniques of immunology, biochemistry and genetics are applied to dissect  how keratinocyte dysfunctions result in the pathogenesis of inflammatory skin diseases. Dr. Lai has published 40 papers in high profile journals including Nature MedicineImmunity, Nature Communications, PNAS, and has received multiple awards including Top-Notch Young Professionals.
