WorkExperience2018-Present East China Normal University 2006-2010 Zhuhai Experimental High School ResumeAfter fighting with serious test anxiety for two years, Youcai was able to pass the college entrance exams in his fifth try in 2002. From then on, he decided to edicated to anxiety research. After graduating from Northeast Normal University in 2006.Youcai taught biology at Zhuhai Experimental High School and investigated how stress impacted the learning and memory of high school students. In 2007, Youcai became the youngest PI of the Eleventh Five-Year Project in Zhuhai. Later, he studied stress under the supervision of Professor Robert Sapolsky from Stanford University and was recommended to study psychology at University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and Medical College of Wisconsin with scholarship and got Master and Doctoral degrees. During the eight years in Wisconsin, Youcai used eye tracker、EEG etc to study anxiety、learning and memory under the supervision of Prof. Christine Larson, Prof. Deborah Hannula and Prof.Anthony Greene. He also applied his research on marketing and user experience research (UX) . He founded an internet company AsianFoodMap.com in 2015, which received investment from Wall Street and is competing with Doordash, GrubHub and was invited to be acquired by EatStreet in 2018. Youcai likes films and applied eye tracking on user experience research in film and TV commercial production. He produced the film 'Scott Road' won the Milwaukee Film Festival Jury Award and was shortlisted for several film festivals. Youcai also served as the special effects producer of Hollywood film 'Boss Level', 'The Last Day of American Crime', director and producer of TV series 'F34rless'(preproduction) , TV commercial production 'Q', 'Kawa' etc. His rich experience allows him to have a cross-disciplinary background in biology, psychology, medicine, and internet fields, as well as American business management experience. In 2018, Youcai came back to China and teach at East China Normal University. He focus on how anxiety impacts learning and cognitive control, how exercise intervenes in anxiety disorder, and user experience research by using eye tracker, EEG, fNIRS, fMRI etc. He was approved the grants 'Ministry of Education's Humanities and Social Sciences Program', 'Shanghai Pujiang Talent Program', and the 'Shanghai Municipal Education Commission's scientific research project'.
