Resume
Prof. Xiaolin Zhou is the Dean of the School of Psychology and Cognitive Science, East China Normal University, and the Director and Shanghai Key Laboratory of Mental Health and Psychological Crisis Intervention. He is also a professor of Psychology at the School of Psychological and Cognitive Sciences, Peking University. Prof. Zhou has been in charge of a number of research projects supported by the UK Economic and Social Research Council, National Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Education of China. He has three lines of research interests. The first one is on language processing, focusing particularly on neuropragmatics in recent years. The second one is on social neuroscience and neuroeconomics, particularly issues related to social cognition, social emotion, and social decision making. The third one is on attentional selection, executive control, and cross-modal information integration.
