Research Fields
Yang Biao is Professor of History at East China Normal University, Shanghai, China. He was a Fulbright Scholar in the Department of History, University of California, Los Angeles; A Fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) at the Department of Area Studies, the University of Tokyo; an Australia-China Council Fellow in the School of Social and International Studies at Deakin University, Australia; a Visiting Fellow at the Northeast Asia History Foundation, Korea, and held a Fellowship of Korea Foundation. His current research and teaching interests include world history, history education and history reconciliation in East Asia.
