Resume

Gong, Binglin received her doctorate in economics from the university of Maryland in 2006. She is now a researcher at the Faculty of Economics and Management of East China Normal University, a Zijiang young scholar and a doctoral supervisor. She has taught at Fudan University and Shanghai Jiaotong University, and has served as a researcher at the John S. and Marilyn Long US-China Institute for Business and Law, university of California, Irvine, as well as a consultant to the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank. She studies behavioral decision-making, mechanism design, gender differences, information economics, behavioral finance and other issues using theoretical modeling, experimental and empirical methods. She has published on Management Science, Games and Economic Behavior, Experimental Economics, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Journal of Economic Psychology, etc. In 2020, she won the second prize of academic paper of the 8th excellent achievement award of scientific research in colleges and universities (humanities and social sciences). In 2018, she won the first prize of academic paper of the 14th excellent achievement award of philosophy and social science of Shanghai. In 2020, she was selected as a Shanghai Leading Scholar. She has presided over a number of national, provincial level and international cooperative scientific research projects.
