    Cao Yanchun, female, PhD, associate professor, graduate supervisor, School of public management, East China Normal University. National public visiting scholar of Duke University from 2012 to 2013. In 2014, she was awarded the title of “Shanghai Pujiang talents” in talent project.

    She received a bachelor's degree in Economics from Nankai University in 1999, a master's degree in Economics from Hunan University in 2003, and a PhD in Economics from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in January 2008. Her main research fields are public policy, social security theory and practice, Social assistance, and child welfare, etc.

    She has completed 2 projects funded by the National Social Science Foundation, and 9 provincial and ministerial level projects (including philosophy and social science project of the Ministry of education and the spirit research of the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China) of Shanghai. She has published 8 books, 2 English papers in SSCI journals and 50 papers in CSSCI journals.

          She has won four provincial and ministerial awards, including: in 2010, “Research on the construction of China's urban and rural social assistance system” won the third prize of Shanghai's eighth Deng Xiaoping theory research and publicity excellent achievement award; in 2014, “Research on the development of China's moderately inclusive social welfare system” won the second prize of Shanghai's eighth Deng Xiaoping theory research and publicity excellent achievement award; in 2015, the research on the long-term care system for the elderly in Shanghai won the third prize of the 10th Shanghai municipal government decision-making consultation Award; in 2017, the research on the social integration of the elderly population won the first prize of the theoretical project of the national Aging office.
