Research:

Dr. He's research focuses on Urban Political Economics, Metropolitan Area Development, Urban and Regional Planning. His recent studies focus on regional spatial cognition and development of metropolitan area. Dr. He published over 70 academic articles including 28 journal papers in a high impact of Chinese Social Sciences Citation Index (CSSCI) and 1 journal paper in Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD).  He is currently served as a journal reviewer in the leading Chinese journals in urban planning and development such as Resources and Environment in the Yangtze Basin, World Regional Studies, Modern Urban Research, Journal of Qufu Normal University.

·    2011~2014, Rising strategy in central region and development of Urban agglomeration in the middle reach of Yangtze river, the major “12th Five-Year Plan” research project of the Center for Modern Chinese City Studies at ECNU, the Key Research Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences, supported by the research grant from the Ministry of Education (No. 11JJZH007).
