She received her Ph.D. from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, during which she participated in an exchange program at the University of Vienna. She previously served as a postdoctoral fellow and associate researcher at Zhejiang University.
She is mainly engaged in research on the impacts of climate change on carbon and nitrogen cycles. As first author, she has published papers in international journals such as Nature Climate Change, Nature Sustainability, and Nature Communications, and her research outputs have been selected as ESI Highly Cited Papers.
She has led a Youth Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and a research topic under the Pioneer Program of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology, received first-tier funding in the National Postdoctoral Research Performance Evaluation, and participated in major projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and cooperative projects with the United Nations Environment Programme. Other AppointmentsAssociate Editor, Earth Critical Zone Editorial Board Member, Advances in Meteorology Research FieldsCurrent Research: Impacts of climate change on ecosystem carbon and nitrogen cycles and adaptation. This research constructs coupled human-natural carbon and nitrogen cycle models, analyzes the multi-scale feedback mechanisms of carbon and nitrogen cycles in agricultural, grassland, and forest ecosystems driven by climate change, and proposes climate change adaptation strategies and climate-smart industry development pathways.
Future Directions: Synergistic pathways for pollution reduction and carbon mitigation under climate change. Integrating big data analysis, model simulation, and field experiments, this research investigates the fate and transformation processes of pollutants in the environment and their interaction mechanisms with carbon and nitrogen cycles, and analyzes the key driving factors and regulatory pathways of the synergistic effects of pollution reduction and carbon mitigation under climate change.
