Research Fields

My research concentrates on consequences of plant functional strategies on community assembly, ecosystem properties and services at different temporal and spatial scales. I mainly focus on how functional and physical constraints of individuals influence ecological patterns and process across sea islands and the ecotone between mainland and island in east China.
