ResumeDr. Min Liu is an Professor of School of Ecological and Enviromental Sciences at East China Normal University. Her research interests include urban ecology, ecological informatics, and remote sensing of eco-environment. She is mainly engaged in the research of urban landscape pattern evolution and ecological environment effect, climate change and atmospheric environment, ecological environment remote sensing and geographic information system (GIS) application, etc. Her researches were supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Shanghai Natural Science Foundation and the environmental protection public welfare industry. More specifically, I am interested in taking cities as the natural laboratory for global change research, to study the eco-environmental effects of urbanization, the impact of urbanization development on regional climate change, and the identification and characterization of ecological and environmental situation based on satellite remote sensing monitoring.
