Resume

Prof. Huang received PhD at Fudan University in 1991. He has been a guest scientist at the University of Madrid in Spain, and the Max-Planck Institute in Germany from 1994-1998. He has visited many academic institutions such as National Institute of Standards and Technology (USA), University of Paris, International Center for Theoretical Physics (Italy), New York University, and so on. 


He has been engaged in nonlinear physics and nonlinear optics, and has made a series of research achievements in nonlinear excitation in fluids and solids, cold atoms and Bose-Einstein condensation, nonlinear and quantum interference effects in atomic and molecular systems. 


He has undertaken more than 20 projects, such as major projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, key projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, general projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, National 973 Project, Trans-century Talents Fund of Ministry of Education and Key Young Teachers Fund of Ministry of Education. 


He has published more than 260 research papers  in major physics academic journals  (including more than 100 in Physical Review series), with SCI citations more than 4000 times and h- index 35. He was selected as one of the first batch of trans-century academic leaders of ECNU in 1996, the second prize of Science and Technology Progress of The State Education Commission in 1997, the trans-century Excellent Talents of the Ministry of Education in 1999, and the Special allowance of The State Council in 2000.
