Pourya Shamsolmoali received a Ph.D. degree in computer science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China, in 2019. During his Ph.D., he attended the Euro-Mediterranean Centre on Climate Change (CMCC), Italy, as a research assistant. Since 2022. 02, he is a Zijiang Young Scholar (Professor) with East China Normal University. In 2020, he received a research grant sponsored by ETS, Montreal, Canada to conduct cutting-edge research on deep learning models that are specialized for the task of image geo-localization.

•     Expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and Image Processing.

•     Winner of 2020 IET Image Processing Premium (Best Paper) Awards.

•     Recipient of most cited articles by PRL in 2019. 

•     Winner of an award and research grants worth over 200+thousand US$ from Canada.

•     Publishing more than 30 papers in high-impact journals and international conferences.
