Research Fields

My research interest focuses on how the brain codes and integrates sensory information of different modalities (visual, auditory, tactile) and how combined multisensory signal is transferred to the high-order perception and/or motion commanding. My other research target is to explore underlying mechanisms of some brain diseases such as autism, sensory deficits, sensory-motor disorder, etc. The present research project is studying how the brain coordinates cortical and subcortical regions to facilitate the multisensory process of superior colliculus.
