Zhaoxing（Star Zhao））

Star X. Zhao joined the Department of Information Management at East China Normal University (ECNU) in September, 2014. Hereceived his PhD in Zhejiang University and was a visiting scholar at Indiana University, USA. Now he works in ECNU as a Professor, deputy director of Faculty of Economics and Management and director of Institute for Academic Evaluation and Development in ECNU.

His research interests involve information science, data science, and informetrics. He has published more than 20 English and peer-review papers in the past five years in journals such as Journal of the American Society for Information Science and Technology and Journal of Informetrics. He is an editorial Board Member for several international peer-review journals, including Journal of Informetrics and Frontiers in Scholarly Metrics and Analytics.
